Being an avid fly fishing instructor, angler, and outdoor enthusiast, I strive to share my love of fishing and the outdoors with everyone. My approach to teaching is one that empowers and enables our students to feel comfortable and confident in the skills they learn so they can succeed in their next adventures on their own or with a guide. I adapt my teaching style to the needs of the student so our time is used efficiently and knowledge retained. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and spent much of my life exploring and experiencing California’s fisheries. I enjoy teaching saltwater techniques on our local beaches, bass fishing in our local reservoirs, steelhead fishing in central valley tailwaters, and trout streams in the Sierra Nevada. I enjoy these equally as much as teaching the basic fly fishing cast in a park, knots, and how to select flies to novice anglers, and I hope to see you in one of our classes!
Man of few words, but knows how to find fish and correct a cast.
