Local Warmwater Lake Techniques

Fly fishing for local bass, carp, and bluegill is a great way to spend a day near your house or a couple of hours before or after work. Learn the basics of fly fishing for these species, and bay area locations to find them. Topics we focus on: casting, fly presentation (top-water and sub-surface), rigging, and identifying holding water for these fish. All skill levels are welcome!

Fee: $295/person
Time of Year: April-July
Location: Various lakes in the South and East Bay

Notes:

  • The exact location is subject to change due to weather conditions. Your phone number will be required at checkout so we may notify you of the final location and any additional instructions.
  • Dress in layers! Be prepared for temperatures to drop significantly towards the end of the day.
  • Make sure you pack a lunch! We provide snacks, but not a full meal.
  • We have 4 spaces available for each class. 
  • We schedule days as needed, please inquire
  • Class times vary, can be done after work (4 hours)
