Introduction to Fly Fishing for Steelhead
After the trout season ends, it’s time to turn our attention to the Steelhead – a powerful and elusive sibling to the rainbow trout, that spends most of its life in the ocean. In this 1-day class on rivers in the central valley, you will learn the basics of fly fishing for Steelhead, including: understanding where Steelhead hold in a river, nymphing and swinging flies technique, rigging, and casting as it relates to fishing. 2-handed switch and spey casting can also be accommodated.
